Plant Day raises money for hospice

A Specialist Plant Day held in September has raised over £1,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Pensthorpe, near Fakenham, worked with the Norfolk Nursery Network to hold a Plant Day on their grounds with a £2 entrance fee donated to EACH. Visitors also received a £2 discount off the fee to visit to the Millennium Garden in its September splendour. Customers flocked to Pensthorpe, helping to raise a fantastic £1,298.60 for the charity.

Jessica Hiscocks, one of EACH’s Norfolk Fundraisers commented, “This event was an absolutely fantastic fundraiser for EACH and we are so grateful to both Pensthorpe and the Norfolk Nursery Network for supporting us and especially for raising such a fantastic amount of money!”
